Registered supporters of Truth Defence will be updated and consulted regularly on the organisation's activities and invited to participate in bi-annual meetings whose purpose will be to shape the organisation's development and growth.
There are three tiers of registration (waged, unwaged and solidarity). Those who are unable to make monthly contributions can join our mailing list and engage with our activities at no cost by submitting a contact form via the home page
Changes or cancellation of subscriptions can be made directly via paypal or requested via the contact form on the home page. Please allow a minimum of two weeks notice when requesting cancellation of subscription.
The directors and organising team are guided by an advisory committee consisting of eminent legal, academic and media professionals who are consulted on an ad hoc basis in relation to proposed activities and actions, and invited to attend quarterly directors meetings.
Objectives and Activities
The organisation has two broad objectives: to counter the spread of disinformation (loosely defined as politically-motivated falsehoods) both online and in traditional media; and to confront the (mis)use of civil litigation for political or ideological purposes.
Accordingly, the organisation's activities fall broadly within three areas: 1) research, investigation and analysis; 2) varied forms of support for ad hoc legal campaigns and 3) creative and other media projects.

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way, including via our third party merchant provider, Paypal. In addition, we may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.
